365 Days Photo Journey: Day 9

In my shoes. No one can feel the comfort or pain in each step I take. No one can walk my foot steps in nine inch heels or my Nike Classics. In my shoes. It is my journey, and mines alone. The miles that I have to travel in nine inch heels or my Nike Classics I will take with great strides. You can stand beside me and journey along side with me in your own nine inch heels or Nike Classics but let it be understood, in my shoes, it is my travel, and mines alone.

Written by yours truly. Peace and Love.

365 Days Photo Journey: Day 8

I was riding on the elevator back to the office wondering what my next photo journey would highlight and there it was a light fixture. Would I have ever looked at this thing twice if I wasn't searching for an image? This photo journey has definitely made me view things differently. Today resolve to view things, life, and people as if you have never seen or touched them, it, him, or her before. Resolve to find the next bright idea or light bulb to make your life a success. Change your views, resolve for good changes. Do it now, do it today.

Peace and Love.

As a child, growing up I used to wonder why time goes by so slow? As an adult I wondered where the time went? There doesn't seem to be enough time in the day and at times I wished for those child hood days again. So time is of the essence. It is the only thing in life that you can't rewind, take back, or fix but you can make things right, right now, in real time. Resolve today to think back in time and try to mend broken relationships, realize lost dreams and passion, apologize to those you've hurt, and most importantly forgive. The more time you let go the harder it is to try and fix things.

Peace and Love.

It was a scorcher out today. The high was 110 degrees in Philly. I found these beauties under some bushes, fragile, yet beautiful. The bushes did a great job of protecting the flowers against the scorching sun. We often forget to stop and smell the roses, in this case the flowers. We neglect the natural beauty that surrounds us daily, over shadowed by sky scrapers, bustling bodies, and traffic. Taken for granted they sit there waiting to be admired. Today resolve to stop and relax because you can be taking something or someone for granted and before you know it, seasons change and that beauty will disappear.

Peace and love.

Yes, what you are seeing is correct. Cleaning products. I have mindlessly cleaned the entire house. Well almost the entire house anyways. I have put aside writing, socializing, and photography to keep a clean and tidy house. Oh the joys of being a responsible adult. Do you see me doing the happy dance? Happy Monday!

Philadelphia residences from all over the city decided July 4th would be a great day to express their independence by parking all over the highways and main roads causing traffic congestion and accidents all over the city. The Pennsylvania highway patrol had a hard time moving traffic, it was a lost cause, they were outnumbered by thousands today. The residence of Philadelphia won this freedom to park where ever they want to. I however found a better spot without the congestion near the Philadelphia Zoo, within the neighborhoods where no tourists or outsiders dare step foot in. Happy Fourth of July! Independence Day Baby!

The wine glass symbolizes celebration. Today there were several celebrations. Everyone seemed to be celebrating. Roads were blocked off for several different block parties, my son celebrated his 9th Birthday and my sister from another mother, brother's reception took place. This image was shot during that event.
